Falafel

Ingredients required:

  • Chickpeas

  • Onion

  • Parsley and cilantro

  • Garlic

  • Seasonings: Cumin, Cardamom, Salt and Black Pepper

  • Frying oil

  • Baking soda

  • Green chili pepper

Preparation:

  • Roughly chop your onion, garlic, and green chili pepper

  • Add all of your ingredients besides the baking soda together into a food processor and blend

  • Transfer your mixture into a bowl then add baking soda and mix then cover your bowl with plastic wrap or a lid

  • Place your mixture to chill in the fridge for about half an hour

  • Use a falafel scoop or roll the mix with your hands to form your round falafel shape

  • Lastly, deep fry your falafel balls in hot oil for about 2 minutes or until golden brown

  • Let the falafel balls cool and enjoy!
